Who's ready for Winner # 13 of 17?

I'm raising the bar with the biggest release of the NBA season.

The Clippers are in Dallas, and I love the number I see for tonight's Game 3.

I'm 3-1 all time with my 200 Dimers in the NBA, and tonight I make if 4 of 5 with my fifth-ever 200 Dime NBA release.

My free play for tonight is from the American League, where I like the Oakland Athletics and Baltimore Orioles to go over the posted number.

The Athletics hand the ball to Ross Stripling, who is 0-5 with a 5.34 ERA in as many starts. And on the road, he's 0-2 with a 7.36 ERA, allowing nine runs on 16 hits over 11 innings of labor.

He's facing one of the most lethal offenses in the league, and the Orioles are returning home from a trip that ran through Kansas City and Anaheim.

During an 8-2 win streak, the O's are hitting .291 and scoring 6.0 runs per game. I can see them getting us our total on their own.

So why not bet the Orioles? I'm not laying -270 and I'm not laying juice with a run line. Both are sucker plays. So, instead, I like this one to go over.

St. Louis at NY METS (-135)

By Al DeMarco - GM, Featured Handicapper

New York returns to Citi Field following a 3-3 west coast trip against the Dodgers and Giants to host St. Louis. The Mets, who welcome J.D. Martinez to their lineup for the first time this season, went 5-1 on their last homestand against the Pirates and Royals.

Jose Butto gets the call for New York. The team has won all three of the 26-year-old right-hander's starts this season. The first two came at home against the Tigers and Royals. In those he worked six innings each and yielded one run on five hits with 15 Ks and 4 BBs. Butto, however, struggled with his control against the Dodgers' tough lineup in his last outing Saturday with only 47 of his 95 pitches being strikes. His final pitching line: 4.1 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 6 K, 5 BB.

St. Louis arrives off a 2-4 homestand against Arizona and Milwaukee. The Cardinals turn to Miles Mikolas, who so far has proven last year's 4.78 ERA in 35 starts was NOT an anomaly. The 35-year-old right-hander is 1-3 with a 6.49 ERA in five outings this season with the Cardinals losing four of those games. And that number rises to 7.30 in his three road starts.

Mikolas has not fared well against the Mets in his career, compiling a 4.68 ERA in six appearances, five of them starts.
